ABOUT Alex
Alexandria Borden is a writer, director, actor and filmmaker based in Philadelphia and NYC. Raised in the south New Jersey, Alex Borden was drawn to film from a young age. Story telling is a passion she’s shared since a very young age. Alex grew up writing stories, filming and editing You-tube videos. Her passion grew into filmmaking into adulthood. Alex loves writing stories on the LGBTQ+ stories. Alex says, “There aren’t enough stories being told. I want to be the writer, the director, to focus on these stories. I want to make movies where Queer folks can see themselves on screen more and more.” Dad from Texas is a film production company that creates projects that include You-tube videos, podcasts episodes, indie films.
